Our Partners in the Fight Against Hunger

Second Harvest Food Bank of North Central Ohio serves in collaboration and cooperation with
  • Feeding America (formerly America's Second Harvest)
feeding-america-footer-logoThe network of more than 200 food banks serves all 50 states, the District of Columbia and Puerto Rico, securing and distributing more than 2.5 billion pounds of food and grocery products annually. Those member food banks (Second Harvest Food Bank) support approximately 63,000 local charitable agencies and 70,000 programs, which provide food directly to individuals and families in need.
  • Ohio Association of Second Harvest Foodbanks
The Ohio Association of Second Harvest Foodbanks (OASHF) is an organization that represents 12 foodbanks, which then distribute food to more than 3,300 member charities, including food pantries, soup kitchens, homeless shelters and other hunger relief organizations that reach all 88 Ohio counties.
  • United Way of Greater Lorain County
United Way of Greater Lorain County builds a strong, supportive Community by raising and distributing funds to meet human service needs. In doing so, it establishes partnerships, such as that with Second Harvest, that focus on collaborative problem-solving, capacity building and high accountability standards for ourselves, our agencies and our community.
