Volunteers play an essential role in the operations of Second Harvest. Simply put: we could not do what we do without the help of thousands of volunteers each year. Last year alone, over 2,000 volunteers donated over 12,650 hours of service.
Second Harvest has volunteer opportunities for both groups and individuals. We work with volunteers to repack food donations, check for quality and organize for redistribution to our member charity partners. Volunteers are also needed to help a variety of other projects including administrative duties, warehouse help, special projects, speakers bureau and events.
