A Note from Julie

As we stand at the foot of a brand-new year, the need for food still outpaces pre-pandemic levels across our region and we remain steadfastly focused on moving families back to stability. We anticipate this being the case throughout the winter months. If volunteering and giving back are on your new year resolution list now may be a great time to get involved. While we always meet the need in front of us, we step into the future applying the lessons learned and planning strategically to make life better for those who rely on us to be here.

2022 has special meaning for Second Harvest as it marks our 40th anniversary. This is a significant milestone for our organization as we look back on our humble beginnings to where we are today. There will be celebrations and exciting ways to get involved throughout the year, so please stay tuned for more details soon.

I know I can look forward with renewed hope because of community partners and friends like you who will join us every step of the way. Together, as this new year unfolds, we can create pathways to nutritious food and a bright future for all.
