Back-to-School now means more than just getting new pencils and spiral notebooks for so many children in our region. It means stopping hunger in its tracks so our children can survive, function and ultimately prosper in school.

Second Harvest recently learned that we received another 4-star rating from Charity Navigator. This is the fifth year in a row that we have been given that rating. What does this mean and why is it so important?
The top volunteer honor of the year, the Jimmy L. Davis Spirit of Community Award, was given to Joseph Geletka at the 2016 Volunteer Appreciation event on May 26, 2016. The top group award, the Harvesters Award, was given to TARGET: District 463 Cleveland West. Gina Sullivan and Paul Kosakowski from Target were on hand to accept the award.
