This required class provides you with the necessary tools and guidelines to follow when working with food. The objective of this class is to provide you with information that can help you protect the safety of the food you handle. We will address issues that food handlers may face and how the care we provide protects the clients we serve.  We will work to expand your knowledge of time and temperature abuse as we handle food. We will also discuss the requirements when it comes to food storage and delivery.

This class is separated into two sections. Pantries are required to attend the first half  9:00 AM until 12:00 PM. There is a release for lunch. Next session is 1:00 PM until 3:30 PM.(Hot Meal programs are required to attend both sessions.)

 

Please register each person attending seperately.  Walk-in participants are discouraged.
