BRING A COMMUNITY ACTION POVERTY SIMULATION (CAPS) TO YOUR COMMUNITY
This interactive training experience is designed to better understand the complex realities faced by individuals and families living in or near poverty. More than a lack of income, neighbors experiencing poverty frequently navigate several challenges at once, including:
CAPS explores the intersection of public policy, benefits and available resources and helps break down stereotypes, build empathy, and inspire action toward stronger, more supportive communities.
This training is appropriate for schools, hospitals, organizations, businesses, and members of the public interested in understanding the needs of their community and those they serve.
